Clement Hollows
Shafts of light filter through the trees
Leaves flutter in a benign breeze
This secluded hollow is quite clement
A zephyr floats along a cinnamon scent
A large, smooth boulder sits plumb in the middle
In summer it is as good as a griddle
A little pond right next to another rock
That is the perfect place to sit and talk
The pond, quintessential, in spring, smooth as glass
The summer, perfectly dry, filled with sweetgrass
Bunches of flowers bloom all around
Any flower to ever be seen, here will be found
