There was a little mouse
Who lived in a creepy
old house
To you and me it is
creepy
But to the mouse it was
just plain sneaky
If he wanted some cheese
The window swept it away
without a thank you or please
If he wanted to make a
blanket out of some scraps of cloth
The door tore it up by
sending in a moth
If he hid something in
his hole
The curtains smushed it
by sending down a pole
What an ill-mannered
house
Thought the little mouse
He then went to a new
home
So now he was not alone
Now he lives happily
there
He never came to the old
home here.
