Teachers

Teachers are ever forgiving
With patience far beyond that of the living

They are like matches that light the flame
And we the candle that try to do the same

They teach us more than we can imagine
And all in the regular classroom din

We are like logs of dead wood
Useless, till touched by the flame of good

Yet fire destroys as well as creates
And to be burned down with such knowledge are some's fate

A teacher keeps the flame going but never too high
A bird can flap but needs to be taught to fly

Anyone can see but need to be taught to observe
All can dodge but need to be taught to swerve

Thus the teacher is essential to all
They help us to bounce back like a ball...…….

(This is a tribute all teachers...Thanks for guiding me )
