Arboles

 

They are gorgeous, those beautiful trees

Supporting those hives of busy bees

They give us food, water, medicine and shelter

Their shade keeps us from having to swelter

 

Forests are our lifeline, yes, they are

They are the reason you can run your car

Chopping them down is just loco

Yet we do it from Myanmar to Morocco

 

It’s wrong, wrong, wrong

To cut down that wooden throng
