The Bangle Seller

A bangle seller sells her wares

Her colorful attire attracting stares

She walks the street and calls out

It rings in the hustle and bustle, her joyful shout

“Bangles, bangles” she calls, “bangles”

She calls atop the merry jangles

Her multicolored scarves flutter in the breeze

She weaves through the market goers with ease

Her bangles are of all types and shades

With gold and red, blue and jades

The patterns are diverse as the earth

Checks, tartan, sequins and fiery like flames in a hearth
