Mysterious Creature

Staring at the plain
I wait not in vain
Sky of light heart and blue
Flowers of a yellow hue
Grassy slope of deepest green
Such beauty was never seen
When here she comes, so great
A majesty never seen till late
Glossy coat of purest white
Against her hair, what a sight
Red, orange, blue, green, yellow
Violet and indigo, bright and bold, not so mellow
A silver horn gleamed in the sunlight
Making the sun seem as black as night
The wing tips were oh so purple and
When spread looked grand
But the rider the incomparable fairy queen
Her dress of black rose petals and a shiny sheen
Hair and eyes of midnight black
In looks she had nothing to lack
The two galloped into the sun bright
And disappeared with a flash of light
